In 2010 I finally decided that Gothic Rock was dead. I mean dead. It simply did not make any sense to put something out in that kind of musical genre at all. Although the songs I wrote at that time would clearly be easy gothic rock pieces, the production became much poppier. Furthermore I was tired to doing shows as, basically, things had stalled for CREAMVIII here.  I thought about going in production or doing soundtrack work. Finally met a young singer who wanted to get out of her band and do recordings with me. I produced 4 tracks that would be much more in the vein of electropop and decided to name that project "MORGENROT". Well, when I sent her the demos with my voice over it, she was very excited, but obviously was told that in the music business, there are lot of creepy old men, hunting down young innocent girls for their perverse pleasures and decided to talk to me only through her "manager", which obviously had talked her into this.
